This 2020 Excel Virago 520 is the ultimate starter RIB for exploring location around The Solent or Local coastal areas around thge country. It is well priced, spacious with plenty of storage and comfortable at sea. In harbour she is very stable due to her wide beam making it an easy boat for young children move about on without any problems.
This Virago 520 has Suzuki DF90ATL outboard motor that can cruise this RIB comfortably at 25kn or potter up river if that was the preference for the day. The DF90ATL is a proven workhorse of an outboard that runs quietly at all speeds and is very fuel efficient. The maintenance is easy and breakdowns are virtually unheard of...this one has less than 100 engine hours.
The hull is aluminium which gives a happy mix of light weight when moving on the trailer and towing behind a car and equally useful at controling fuel costs as the large 90hp outboard will be evven more efficient than when drivinga heavier GRP hull.
This RIB was retubed after damage to the original tube so it now sports a brand new hypalon tube. Usually the Virago has a PVC tube but we wanted to ensure that the issues would not return so we upgraded the tube.
The huge deck space and stable platform are good for kids but equally handy if you are taking towing toys out to enjoy more high octane life on your RIB.
This Virago 520 also has a Raymarine Dragonfly 5 plotter/sonar to help you navigate safely and easily to your favourite places or explore new fun places to go. There is also a VHF radio for additional safety and for chilling out a Fusion RA70 sound system (bluetooth enabled) to play your favourite tunes.
This RIB also comes with a road trailer complete with trailer board.
