Our Mobile workshop is contained in a converted Mercedes Benz Sprinter and includes all the specialist tools that a main dealer is required to carry by the manufacturer. The mobile workshop also has custom built gear box stands, tool chests and benches and even a crane that can lift 500kg to ensure that all types of work can be completed to highest standard.

Our Labour rate is competitve at £60.00/hr + VAT and if based at a River Hamble Marina, to support our local customers, there are no travel charges. 

We operate our mobile outboard motor engine service throughout the Solent area but also go as far as Dover in the East and Weymouth to the West. While this may seem a wide area for a Solent based business it is because of how well we have equipped our mobile outboard motor service workshop that we have attracted business so far away. This mobile engine service is available for you to achieve the convenience of the service on your driveway or at a marina dry stack. Although outboard motor engine service is an important part of our workshop business we are also a boat builder and retailer of Joker Boats (RIBs), Tiger Marine RIBs & Neptune RIBs and a sales and service dealer for Garmin electronics and Fusion sound systems so can provide a complete fitting out service of your boat.

Our professional workshop and facilities are often used to build other companies boats from engines to electronics and all the boat building requirements. They use us for convenience and a quality standard that they can rely on. Other services we can offer include:

At our workshop in Warsash, River Hamble, we have one of the largest spaces in The Solent which means if you want to bring your boat to us to get work done we can keep it either inside or outside in secure storage on a site with complete CCTV coverage. 

We also have specialist mobile hoists which can lift boats of up to 5000kg enabling us to lift your boat and chock it off if required inside or outside at any location. We also have inside hoists in the workshop that can achieve 5000kg lifts as well. 

We are proud of our workshop facilities, both in Warsash (River Hamble) and our mobile outboard engine service workshop. Our engineers have been trained by the outboard engine manufacturer and have many years of experience between them to ensure we can confidently and competently complete all the work you require. Solent Collect Warranty® Explained

All trailerable boats and engines work on a "back to base" warranty - this means you have to return your RIB and Engine to where you purchased it to access your warranty; this is onerous and expensive for you on both time and money.

When purchasing Suzuki four stroke outboard engines of DF40A or larger from Marine Matters it comes with our unique Solent Collect Warranty® plan. This means that any issues, no matter how small, we will attend and solve the problem, if this can't be done at your location we will take your Suzuki Outboard to our workshop, repair it and return it all free of charge. We do the running and jobs while you simply enjoy your Suzuki outboard engine without any of the hassle. For the avoidance of doubt if the engine is permanently fixed to your boat we have the facility to bring the whole boat and engine to the workshop so we do try and make this really easy for you. 

This is only available on Suzuki Outboard Engines purchased from Marine Matters and still within the warranty period.
This is not just for new Outboard engines but also includes used outboards still within the warranty period.

Solent Collect Warranty® Geographic Coverage Area

Mainland

Any Suzuki outboard engine, within the warranty period, kept on the mainland from Lymington to Chichester and if kept at home any location within 10 miles of the coast qualifies for Solent Collect Warranty®.

Isle of Wight

Any Suzuki outboard engine kept on the Isle of Wight qualifies for collection from the north side of the island only. All collection from the IOW will be by sea only (i.e. not on a trailer on the ferry). Collection will include towing the boat across The Solent if the fault means your Suzuki or Mercury outboard engine is inoperable under its own power.

Warranty Coverage on your Suzuki Outboard Engine
Your Suzuki outboard engine has a total of 5 years Warranty.
This is made up of 3 years manufacturers' warranty and if serviced by an Authorised Suzuki Dealer for the first 3 years Suzuki GB will extend the warranty by another two years. 

Solent Collect Warranty® is available for the full five years on all Suzuki outboard engines from 40hp and larger.
